Yeah, I bought a bunch of non-gmo seeds years ago. All in vacuum sealed bags. It's there if I need it. And I have a collection of books. Some natural medicinal, some on animal husbandry. Some on homemade crafts: weaving...heck it's been so long since I looked at them I can't remember what they contain anymore. But they are there. I've actually thought of that too. I am going to start buying seeds wherever I see them, and stash them away in a safe place until we need them. I've been reading survival sites for years.. and have quietly picked up a few things here and there. I don't have a bug out bag packed but I'm aware that eventually we will need them. on to product shortages - it may seem trivial to some, but you can't get chlorine anywhere lately either, and if you do, the prices have sky rocketed. |

Jojo try to get non-gmo seeds. You can't harvest seeds from gmo vegetables. Non-gmo or heirloom seeds, as they are sometimes called have fertile seeds in them.
Did you ever watch Doomsday Preppers Jojo? I loved that show.
Yep, Yoda, I've been prepping for years. I mean not to the extent some do like securing a bomb shelter and such but little things.
I have bugout bags, yes, but I'm not in good enough physical shape from years of dealing with pain to get very far on foot. But as long as I can drive my FJ Cruiser I can get to where I need to go.

linen I watched Doomsday Preppers! Some was a bit out there but I liked the general premise. See, I prep, but I also make sure to LIVE in the now.

I'm not sure if I've watched it or not. I know I've heard of it. I will look into it and see what there is to see. Like I said previously, I mostly go to preparedness sites and read and learn from them. Sometimes shows are little overboard or come off as fanatical at times.

I loved Doomsday Preppers because it was entertaining. Some were way out there! Spending thousands upon thousands. I spends hundreds, lol.

I just bought a new laptop. Didn't want to wait any longer and take a chance. The guy at Office Depot said laptops are flying off the shelves.
