Ha! Just looked up the symptoms for 2021 flu symptoms and she has the FLU! No matter, the meds I sent her will help with that as well.

My daughter has been sick for a week now. She has done all the right things and has improved but still sick. Today she called me and said she felt dizzy and lightheaded. I told her it was time to go to the emergency room. She cried, she didn't want to. I've sent her so much information on covid. I told her the information was not to instill fear but to empower her. So she went.
Her oxygen level was 98 so that was a relief. Temperature was 98. They were going to give her steroids and meds to get her over the hump. And they sent her home.
She is still complaining of being dizzy. I don't want her to discount that. It might be a separate issue. She needs to keep it in check. With all the talk of vaccine shedding and spike proteins jumping from the vaccinated to the unvaccinated, and spike proteins causing blood clots and passing the blood brain barrier, it's not to be taken lightly.

I've been so focused on my daughter I neglected to say I got sick as well. Last Sunday I didn't feel well. I thought it was due to lack of sleep but by evening, I knew it was more than that. I felt run down, lethargic and my nose was running.
I went to bed and Monday morning the nose was still running and my stomach was upset. I had bloating and was passing gas from both ends. I say this not to gross you out but comparing my symptoms to my daughter's, they were the same only hers was much worse, especially with the runny nose, cough due to the mucus and ears and sinuses were clogged.
By mid Monday my nose dried up but the bloating and gas continued throughout the day. Tuesday morning I still had an upset stomach but the gas was gone. Wednesday morning still had a bit of upset stomach but not as much. Yesterday I was in the clear.
My daughter was tested for covid yesterday while in the ER. If her test comes back positive then I wonder if I really was coming down with covid since my symptoms matched hers only lighter. But with the months of taking Vitamins C and D and homemade hydroxychloroquine (maintenance dose) I'm wondering if said treatments helped me get through my experience with covid.

This post is going to take a bit longer to put down since it require me to go back to 2012.
What brought this all up is my husband was talking on the phone to his nephew last night and I heard him mention that my husband's sister has been exhibiting signs of early dementia. I thought, WHAT!
Going back even further my husband's father had Alzheimer's and died in 2014 in advanced stages. So it's in the family. At the time we didn't know what was causing it. He also had IBSD (Irritable Bowel Syndrome Diarrhea). They tried him on different diets to stop the diarrhea, but nothing ever worked. He had IBS for about 12 years along with declining recognition in his brain.
Now focusing on my life, I contracted West Nile Meningitis in 2012. I was in the hospital for 3 days for diagnosis and it took 6 months to recover from the initial infection. A year later I began having problems with digestion. I tried eating differently, cutting out all dairy was one of them. It seemed to help in one department but there were others that I was getting no relief. At the time the gluten free diet was popular so I thought I'd try that and after a 8 month learning curve, BINGO! I was no longer having any digestion problems. I lived like that for 7 years before I could tolerate certain foods, and I only found that out when I accidently ate something that 7 years prior, I wouldn't have been able to tolerate.
As a side note, I now know, the West Nile Meningitis wrecked havoc on my digestive system. That is why I developed an intolerance to gluten a year later.
About 4 or 5 years into my diet change, I started connecting the dots into my husband's father's condition before he died. He definitely had Alzheimer's, but what caused his IBSD? One of the symptoms of gluten intolerance is IBSD or IBSC. Could he have been gluten intolerant? We will never know for sure but it is a possibility.
Enter Dr David Perlmutter who wrote a book titled Grain Brain which in it he links gluten to some forms of Alzheimer's disease. Dr Perlmutter is a neurosurgeon whose father was also a neurosurgeon and said father developed Alzheimer's and thereafter died of it.
His son, Dr David mentioned above, wanted to know what caused the Alzheimer's because he didn't want a similar fate. After researching he found that the studies had already been done, all he had to do was collect the data: some forms of Alzheimer's is definitely linked to gluten intolerance.
Okay so back to my husband's family. He is talking on the phone to his nephew about his mother, my husband's sister exhibiting signs of dementia. So while they were talking, I ran back to my room where I store my books and found my copy of Dr Perlmutter's book. I asked to speak to the nephew and told him of my suspicions and research.
Over the years I have told, I don't know, 3 or 4 people I have crossed paths with of the link between certain types of Alzheimer's and gluten. Mostly I get the blank stare before they change the subject. And these people I have talked with have loved ones with one form of dementia or another.
Now here is the conclusion of this story. From the research I have done, and it has been extensive, gluten feeds the opioid receptors in the brain. The same receptors that are fed by a drug addict that gives them that euphoria sensation when they take their drug(s).
Now stay with me! Your brain wants to blank out because this is getting very uncomfortable for you. Our diets are full of gluten products. All the good foods and snacks are full of gluten. Cookies, certain candies, cakes, fresh bread out of the oven, mmmmm, pastries, pastas, all have gluten. We consume way more gluten than is natural.
When I first went gluten free, I went through withdrawals. It took 2 weeks. It was that nagging sensation that I was missing something; by the end of week one I wanted to dig into my skin and, I don't know, find something, whatever I was missing. My opioid receptors were not being fed gluten to give me that ahhhhh, feeling. After the 2 weeks I was over it and could move on.
You are going to want to brush this off. It's uncomfortable. Gluten is your unconscious and subconscious drug of choice. Trust me, I've been through it. But think of my husband's father and his sister. Both with dementia.
Here is the cosmic/spiritual side of this. Early on, 8 or 9 years ago, my husband was showing signs of dementia. I watched it for a few years. When it got to the point he was watching the same program 3 times in the same week I put my foot down. He had sleep apnea and I told him he was going to get tested. They did diagnose him with sleep apnea and subsequently got him on a cpap machine. I thought that might solve the problem but it didn't. The dementia was still there.
That was about the time I became gluten intolerant so I began fighting my own battle. But in the ensuing years (7 to be exact) my husband ate gluten free because I was so sensitive to it I couldn't have it in the house without getting sick.
Looking back on his sister, his father and I think you can come to your own conclusion. My husband's mind is sharp and clear.
So I'm wondering if, at some point, I may have had a conversation (during sleep) with my Invisible Support Team and maybe Rodger on a cosmic level and I agreed or we agreed that I would become gluten intolerant so I could clean our diets of gluten so my husband could live out his life clear headed. Sounds plausible to me.

Well it's official now, my daughter has covid. And not the mild kind. She is hanging in there but very sick. Home, not in the hospital.

My daughter texted me today and said "no more naps." She had been taking 2 a day. Yesterday I told her not to lay down a lot because the lungs can fill up with fluid.
She is feeling a tiny bit better but not at all well yet. She is hoping to go into the office (where she works) and get a few hours of work done maybe tomorrow. She has had her 14 days of quarantine so she is no longer contagious.
I have known a few people who have come down with covid. The bad kind, not the light kind. Usually their recover is slow. Debilitating weakness seems to be the most prevalent. I warned her to take it easy and not try to do to much.

My daughter is on the mend. She just texted me and says her cough has changed to a lighter cough. She is up and moving now. AND she has natural immunity and has proof.

I have made the decision to leave this forum. After rude comments from members and the administrator allowing riff-raff in to solicit, the place is turning to trash, so I am leaving. I will go somewhere where I am welcomed and treated with respect.

I have made the decision to leave this forum. After rude comments from members and the administrator allowing riff-raff in to solicit, the place is turning to trash, so I am leaving. I will go somewhere where I am welcomed and treated with respect. Sorry to see you go, I did not intend for the spam to stay up for over a week, I was on a break at the time and did not have access to my email or I would have caught it sooner. Mistakes happen, but I am disappointed that some members were being rude. I was not aware of this and though you have left already, if you ever see this I would appreciate if you can let me know who was being disrespectful. Thanks for your time here and wishing you the best
