Firstly, I want to apologize for a political post. I hate politics as much as anyone but I can't keep this in. It is something that is very upsetting and I am sure I am not alone. Let me also preface by saying I did not vote for Trump. Hell, I did not even vote for anyone. It's sad that even needs to be said.
Something about this election has brought anger, frustration, and especially violence out of people. One thing I have been trying to understand is the continued violence against trump supporters and how it is even allowed in some instances.
Before I start listing sources and links I want to point out a few things. In many videos I have seen of attacks on trump supporters, one line that is often hurled is "you fucking racist" or some other line involving racism and how the victim is a racist.
I want to point out a few things here that may piss off some people. Most often times the victim that is getting assaulted is white. About 95% of the time. Another thing I would like to point out that in about every single video I have seen, the person assaulting the Trump supporter (often in the way of sucker punches, cheap shots, and other dirty tricks) is not white.
What is the cause for this? Do they associate Trump supporters by and large as just one big group of racists? Below are some examples of this violence against Trump supporters.
I don't care who you vote for or what your favorite sports team is. Physically attacking someone because of their beliefs or who they vote for is weak and misguided to say the least. It does not help that often times a lot of protests are funded by billionaires for who knows what kind of agenda. One notable fellow is George Soros.

This was a heavy post and will be the last political post for a long time. It disgusts me personally because during these times we need to be coming together, not further dividing ourselves and attacking one another. If we are to progress as a species and shape a better future for ourselves, we need to come together as one for the good of each other and mankind and learn to respect other people and the values, opinions, and realities they prefer to hold. Trying to force your reality or view point on someone else will never work. Just learn to accept people for who they are, no matter what color their skin is, what shape their body is, or what political beliefs they choose to believe.
