You are right, not many people know of this what you and the video express.
One thing with prayer is it is religious based and now days, many western religions have moved away from spirituality. The eastern religions still have spirituality deeply rooted in their religion. As prayer is basically a different way of describing manifestation through our own thoughts that become thought forms and being done correctly using the mind and heart, the manifestation increases exponentially. So those that pray for miracles to occur in their lives that don't succeed, are not using the correct formula.
We do not need to pray to God, as we are fragments of God and we can create ourselves. Everything is there waiting for us, it is the question of how and when we learn ask for it.

If I may say so, the problem with Tesla's idea is that, while it's sound enough, how do you collect data in a meaningful way, useable for example for exploration and research? How can findings be corroborated? I think it goes further than just the narrow focus of orthodox scientific methodology. Ways have to be found to transduce 'phenomena' into forms our existing limited senses can handle and quantify - much as an electron microscope lets us see objects that visible light-based optics won't. Or an oscilloscope to detect and measure waveforms that evade the audio range.

I had watched something on Gaia, where the host was explaining that where exactly and by whom (he didn't mention it), can only guess an organisation like DARPA have been able to place consciousness of a person onto a HDD (Hard Disc Drive) to enable them to place that consciousness into another body at a later date. I would prefer to go old school on this and when my time has come, I leave this vehicle/vessel (body) and move to another through birth should I have to reincarnate in physical form.

There was a short story about this. I can't remember whether it was Ballard or Aldiss. Probably Aldiss in the "A moment of Eclipse" collection.
I remember pondering how much data and process would have to be organised and stored. It would need process to determine how the data is used to produce 'consciousness'. Just recording the contents of each neuron at a fixed point in time would mean nothing unless it can be animated. It would also assume a recipient has a similar chemical resource in the brain so that the hypothalamus and pituitary could work as they release both hormones and hormone-releasers into the body; and that the body could respond in a broadly similar way.
It would take a vast amount of storage.
But that's before finding a way to overwrite the recipient's brain data!
Interesting thoughts.

When you consider that the our minds and bodies are bio-mechanical and bio-computers it would be the transferral from bio to non-bio (mechanical) architecture. Is the mind bending part.

Michio Kaku writes a lot of books of the science and spritiual combination and where science will take us in the future. Good reads! Highly recommend.
