We have heard the saying," to sell your soul to the devil". But what does it mean? Everyone would have their own opinion or understanding on it, this is mine.
Most know of the different densities of consciousness. We are living in a 3rd-4th density. It is the most difficult of all densities to exist in. Being materialistic, physical. A place to learn, grow and experience life in the human condition. We are meant to learn valuable lessons from our incarnations on Earth so we can graduate to higher levels of consciousness and eventually retuning back to Source.
When someone sells their soul, it is not necessarily the devil, but to evil beings that control the world, the materialistic world. When you enter an agreement to basically relinquish your capacity to evolve spiritually. Your consciousness will never grow and expand than what it's current state is, 3rd-4th level.
So you are trapped within the materialistic world that was only meant to be temporary, is now permanent. It may not seem so bad, but when you realise we are spiritual beings having a physical experience (life) then it is a big deal not being able to grow. Just like being born, you start off as an infant, toddler, young child, teen and adult. Our true self, our soul will be held in the infant/toddler age, for eternity in the material, physical world which was meant only to be a place to learn and grow. It now becomes the prison.

My late fiance told me that he sold his soul to the devil. He was very angry at God. He was very angry and jealous of me for being who I am. We had several lives together through out history, one of which where we were cave people. He hasn't evolved much through out his lives. I had several prophetic dreams of him dying and when he did die, I was with him while I was dreaming. I saw him jump into a deep abyss. When I awoke, I learned he died the exact time I was dreaming him dying. I had some dreams of him afterwards, one after he was cremated and this was his first time after many many incarnations where he was aware of his own soul. It took him a minute to adjust to being a soul and not just a body. Then I was with him when he was reborn. He was reborn through a line in hell so to speak. It was like a factory that spit souls into bodies on the earth. He was aware that I was there with him. Now I wonder if his new body in this life will remember someone being with him right before he was born. Anyways, I agree, 3rd-4th density are lower levels that many stay in and there are some who move onto a larger awareness. In time, we all will, no rush I suppose.

I regard the world of marketing the real 'evil' behind materialism and consumerism that do all they can to chain people to the material earth, to prevent them developing an awareness of real Self, untangled from the malignance of social conditioning. And yet my work is creative and I've sold it to these marketers and even game houses. Of late though work has become more scarce as the shape of the creative market is changing so perhaps I'm gradually being released from it; about which I'm not unhappy as the way I live moves towards higher principles. Like most, I'll still have to work to survive but over a long period I've sorted out what I need from what I'm told I should have so as long as I can pay the bills.... On the plus side, work has put me in contact with a world in which I can self-express in the same media unlinked from the material world. Interesting. It's like if you're going to dine with the devil, use a long spoon. |

We would have to give up many creature comforts. So how do we get around this? We rewire our brains (perceptions and thoughts) to be able to live in a situation like that. So that when there is nothing, you have nothing to loose.
Back on topic,
We incarnate on Earth to learn very valuable lessons from our experiences. The lessons that we learn assist us in advancing our levels of consciousness to be able to proceed to further up the spiritual ladder. Being the density that the Earth is, 3rd density and in transition mode into 4th density, it is very easy to be trapped here. With all the fancy technological gadgets, products and ways of life we forget who and what we truly are. Spiritual beings having a physical experience and not the other way around. So when opportunities arise, those of us take it and give away ourselves to the greed, glutton, consumeristic values, stardom, fame and fortune. These that the few at the top, the 1%, can give to an individual. You sign a contract that relinquishes your rights to escape. You have sold your soul and you wish to think you are participating in service to others, but you did it for your own personal gains and you participate in service to self. The possibility for your souls advancement is no longer recognised. Another example is, 'I am only doing my job line' be it law enforcement or whatever. If it morally wrongful to carry out such enforcements and you know it's wrong but you still do it, because of the 'I am only doing my job line', then they too have sold their soul.

As those that fall into the trap rather than learn valuable lessons from 3rd density, they become trapped in the system and continue to reincarnate life after life after life and never being able to elevate to higher levels of consciousness. As this was their choice. They remain trapped in 3rd density.
