I had suffered a stroke almost 16 years ago. I am 99.98% recovered. That is another story. What I want to share with every reader is what I researched and came up with. I was over the prescribed meds for cholesterol lowering meds as they were giving me weird side effects.
I came up with a drink my family and I have been drinking every second day, so as not to get your body dependant on the concoction. I use a Ninja Nutribullet blender. Quantities will vary due to what you have to use:
Extra virgin olive oil Almonds (handful)
flax seeds (tablespoon)
hemp seeds (tablespoon)
raw ginger (fresh) small amount cut up
Garlic (fresh) 4 cloves crushed
ground cinnamon (teaspoon) fresh pineapple (about a handful) Strawberries (fresh) depending on size, 4 cut up
A citrus fruit, I use kiwi fruit furry skin as well. Small amount of Kale Small amount of Baby spinach a teaspoon of turmeric two tablespoons of honey blueberries blackberries I use frozen mixed packet of these.
raspberries
Coconut oil (two tablespoons) Banana (sometimes) Half an apple (chopped) Soy milk ( use what you like)
Blend and hook in.
My family and I have been drinking this for over three years, and no one has been sick with colds or flu since.
If you want to reduce inflammation, stop or reduce your intake of refined sugars. This and the drink can do wonders. Do your own research.

Whenever you want to share your story, I'd love to read it! No pressure Glad you are feeling better! Another thing for people to look into is food intolerances. Sometimes a healthy food can cause inflammation. Think peanuts, strawberries.

I forgot to mention in the OP that we drink it every second day and not on the weekend. This is so the body does not become dependant or becomes tolerant of the ingredients.

Not so much a health recipe, but a sort of yummy healthy one.
Puff pastry triangles with a variety of fillings. The ones I have made with their fillings are listed below, but you can put whatever you think would be yummy in them.
Apple cinnamon (like what you'd put in an apple pie).
Grated pumpkin with cinnamon
Grated Carrot with a bit of raw sugar.
Mixed berries.
Once baked in the oven until golden brown, you can eat them as is, or with custard, ice cream what ever your favourite topping is.
