One thing I have learnt from our recent experience particularly regarding seeking the truth on a lot of the dirt going around is this world. Only those who seek the truth can and will find it. Those not ready for it will dismiss it as it just confuses, angers and challenges their belief system. Saying that, trying to tell others of our discoveries was falling on deaf ears to many bar a few who are/were open to it. Just like the saying about beauty, it is in the eyes of the beholder. So is the truth, you'll only know it, if your open to it.

This made me chuckle. Nice way to start out the day. I'm glad that made you roll around on the floor figuratively. I knew you would like it.

That's why I had to stop trying to 'educate' others. If they wanted to know the truth, they'll find the groups out there. As my husband says: You can't fix stupid

That's why I had to stop trying to 'educate' others. If they wanted to know the truth, they'll find the groups out there. As my husband says: You can't fix stupid I've struggled with this too, but have since largely got over it. I choose to the see existence through the lens of light and dark. Neither is "bad" or "good" per se, they just are, and they do different things.
An aspect of the darkness is conformity, and this goes back to nature of visible darkness. When you have total darkness, you see nothing but black. Pitch black = total conformity. Add just a touch of light and now you've got a little bit of gray, which is no longer total conformity. Darkness tends in the direction of total conformity while light tends in the direction of total diversity. The reason I say that neither light or dark are "good" or "bad" is that total diversity isn't necessarily a "good" thing either as it could easily become total chaos. I digress.
When you think you have a monopoly on truth and thus want other to see things as you do, what are you doing? Pushing for more conformity, which is an aspect of darkness. What the light does is just what physical light does: it shines onto things that someone might not have seen before so they can observe it for what it is and then choose to see it for how they want to see it. It shows the color, the shape, the texture and other things.. but it doesn't label, define or decree things as "good" or "bad."
