A few years ago my autistic grandson found videos on youtube by the Piano Guys. They do a lot of classical/pop mixes with great videos. They consist of 4 musicians with different talents. One of them is a videographer so he creates the videos, one mainly plays the piano, one sings and the other plays the cello or what ever he feels like as I have seen videos where he plays the drums and the piano as well as his cello.
Two years ago they were in Albuquerque and I bought tickets for my daughter, my grandson and myself to see them. My grandson did not get to go because his dad scheduled a trip to Hawaii without checking with my daughter, so the third ticket went to my friend. It was a fantastic show. Last year my daughter started looking at their schedule to see if they would be close to us again soon so she could take my grandson. They had two shows left before they quit touring for good. One in Alaska and one in Las Vegas. She sent them an email telling them how much they mean to my grandson and they sent an email back asking if she could get herself and him to Las Vegas or Alaska and if so, they would be VIP guests no tickets need to be bought. That was on the Tuesday before they would be in Las Vegas on Saturday. My daughter talked to her boss and got Friday and Monday off and emailed them back and said we will be there. It was such a wonderful experience for my grandson, they let him and 4 other kids hang out with them before the show, did photos and actually talked to them. Then after the show was another meet and greet, which they did not have tickets for but the people sitting next to them did and gave then to my grandson.
Now he is learning to play the violin for school (all kids at his school learn it) and he is taking Cello lessons. So now I will be posting some of my favorite videos to this thread.
I hope everyone is having a good week.
