Wow. That's crazy to think about because i'm 38, almost 39, and you had a stroke at 36! Thanks for sharing, and what a great attitude and lesson to pass on.

Strokes are not age discriminatory. It can get anyone at any age. I thought I was 10' tall and bullet proof. I proved myself wrong. I smoked, drank ate lots of crap. I paid the price. But I found out later this was part of my soul contract (another story). I now am completely the opposite. I was trying to quit smoking a number of times prior to the stroke. each time lasting a little longer. The stroke wiped the urge to smoke. Cured, haven't had one since. I rarely drink at all and eat very healthily. Borderline veggo.
Yes, look after the vehicle that you've been given to navigate and experience this life with.

Thanks, yes. I've been blessed with stellar health and turned my diet around before it severely affected me. I definitely don't want something serious like that happening to me but I admire the heck out of people like you (and my wife) who've been through something so life altering and manage to not only get through it but find the blessing in it. It's very inspiring, and if you're not already, I would recommend to put yourself out there if you can and/or want to. With so many people driven into victim mentality, it would help to have as many voices out there basically saying "I've got a greater claim to victimhood than you but i'm not taking it cause it would just keep me weak and small, so suck it up buttercup."

That's it buttercup. I had done my inspirational thing during my time in rehab for stroke and leg and those that I happen upon in my life. Particularly forums.

We are always stronger after falling. We learn from failing, and grow from pain. It's too easy to become trapped in a victim mentality and mindset. Eventually it gets old and you realize how much better it feels to power through and change your own circumstances with your own free will.
That's honestly some pretty traumatizing things to work through, and makes it more remarkable and rewarding to overcome such challenges. Thanks for sharing

Something that has been happening to me for the past several months is that when I close my eyes to go to sleep I can see with great detail all the stuff in the bedroom. The more recent events is that like a flick book of characters, I see visions of alien races. From human like, to the most weirdest and bizarre looking. All I see is their faces and the detail is very clear and I haven't been able to stay focused on one it just flicks through one after another on fast forward.

Wow I wish you could capture that and show it. I'd love to see it.

It would be a treat to do so. I would say there have been a few dozen that get shown. I am still not sure whether they are ones that my subconscious knows of or is it what I have been in previous lives prior to being incarnate as human.
