I would set an intention and you could even use mantras to assist during meditation. If you keep practicing and setting intentions and focusing on the goal of communication it should set you on that path. It is different for everyone but find what works best for you. I don't want to say too much as it really is a different process and journey for everyone else and I can only offer my own opinion.
