If you believe god is all knowing why are we put to the test?

It is that we are god. You, I, the awkwardly uncomfortable neighbor and the fox chasing ants and butterflies. If there is a test it is a challenge of seeing ourselves as our truth. And the "all knowing"-ness of God, is only applicable by the understanding that god, source, universe or however you name it is experiencing itself through all things. That is what it means to be all places at all times.
So you see there is no pressure to perform. That pressure is the frustration of the consciousness faced with the denial of itself.

God is all knowing, but he had given us choice and the ability to decide.
To be clear, he didn't make us do it, rather he knows what will we choose. As he knows the future.

Maybe we are put to the test to remember who we truly are. It's easy to get steeped in physical reality and forget that we are spiritual by nature and that we all belong to source and are all connected.
Maybe it's our free will that brings challenging tests to ourselves. Maybe it's the society we have built.
Or is it because we have forgotten? That there is a veil of amnesia covering our eyes and our tests are to see beyond it and see if we can handle seeing beyond it. It's hard to say

It is an oversimplification to say that God is all knowing. Certainly it is true and God does know how we will choose before the choice is presented us as well. But are we tested? No. I don't believe this is true. It is more like we are guided and then given latitude to decide things for ourselves, for a while. Testing? No. This is more like a learning experience. And the goal? It is not so much the knowledge of things that is important. It is the wisdom gained by the application of what we have learned in this sometimes harsh world. Is this testing? No. It's a long series of learning opportunities.
And what of God? How can it be that God knows all so easily? This is related to the differences between God's nature and ours. We are human souls who are incarnated in lower planes with the purpose of gaining experience which will eventually free us to ascend. God though has been through all this and exists in such a high plane that no mere human can fully comprehend it. There is one aspect though that we can understand.
Consider time. Here on Earth time is a constant, more or less. But it does vary depending on what we are doing. Sometimes it passes quickly and sometimes more slowly. Here is a secret about time though. As we turn our gaze heavenward we find that time, in each level of the heavens as we ascend is progressing more slowly. The higher we go the slower is time when compared to here on Earth. Finally when we get to the very highest level, the level at which the Great Creative Force (God) is we find that not only has time stopped but that there is no time at all. God is timeless. From God's perspective there is only "now", "the present". This is very difficult for our minds to grasp but it is true nonetheless. This is the reason we can have choices while God knows how we will choose. It is only a matter of acceptance.
But back to being tested. No. God does not test us. Not directly at least. Look closer to home. Our souls which, while we are here on Earth, remain in their spiritual homes in one of the Earth's heavens. They have an interest in our progress. It is they who are known to sometimes whisper in our ear... a suggestion or two. They may nudge us and we react by thinking we are being tested.... but we're not.
There is much, much more to all of this...

If you believe god is all knowing why are we put to the test? I don't beleive any deity that we use to control large groups of people is real. If there is an actual being that is all knowing it has no reason to put anything to the test, or anyone, it already knows. So what kind of test were you thinking of? How do you think you are being tested? |

How do you think you are being tested? What we have to realise is that we are all fragments of Source (god). We incarnate into our bodies as the vehicles that help us navigate through our own individual experience of what we call life. Because we are fragments of Source, that is why we are all connected. We have the perception of being tested be cause of our individual experiences in this 3rd-4th density world as we are spiritual beings experiencing the human condition. |

How do you think you are being tested? What we have to realise is that we are all fragments of Source (god). We incarnate into our bodies as the vehicles that help us navigate through our own individual experience of what we call life. Because we are fragments of Source, that is why we are all connected. We have the perception of being tested be cause of our individual experiences in this 3rd-4th density world as we are spiritual beings experiencing the human condition. The question is, is this a ride we all lined up to get on or is it some kind of duty or learning experience? I have my opinion and I am curious about your opinion on the reason we choose to experience being human on planet earth. |
