I couldn't agree with you more, but for me hugging the ego is out.!!! I understand what you mean, but in choosing the middle road I think that means not opting for or thinking about the ego, which I would say is akin to being in a state of contemplation which I think is neutrality. In other words, you are neither 'for or against.'

I see where you are coming from but I think that maybe you misunderstand what oneness refers to. While the world is multi-faceted, in the sense that we observe it as such, I think it only seems that way to us from our point of view. If you "zoom out" your perspective, at least for me, it is usually observable that "the many" are actually parts of a bigger "one". I am sure you are familiar with the concept that good would mean nothing without evil. How would a completely good or completely evil world look? How would you know in which one you lived if you had no way of comparing it to something else? I think that is the point you were trying to make. But to me, oneness doesn't refer to choosing to do only good or only evil, or having any other 'one way of life' as you put it. True oneness for me would be a perspective in which both good and evil are unified and you use them both when approaching life. The way a battery works is having a positive and a negative node that are connected. It is only because of the polarization between them that electricity can flow from one to the other. Wouldn't you say that having both of the opposing forces work towards the same goal (in this case generating electricity) has unified them? And that though they are clearly different from each other and "plural", the system that is making use of them for a greater purpose that either couldn't achieve alone is "one"? By embracing that good and evil are actually working towards the same goal, you can achieve a perspective that is beyond both of them and that can achieve something greater than either good or evil could on their own. To me, this is the process of spiritual evolution. If you unify all of the "many" aspects within yourself, you continuously evolve beyond them and gain a better perspective. If you go beyond all the different aspects of the world and unify absolutely everything, you will gain a perspective beyond the world, and that might as well be synonymous with being God. So the conclusion is that while the world is composed of many, there are always bigger "ones" in which they can be unified, with the last "one" being God. Naturally I have heard all that before. This is a dual world where the forces of positivity and negativity exists and as you have said, they complement each other. The path that I am traversing is known as the middle road so I guess that actually makes you neutral. I see us all as Soul (Spirit). I believe that Soul inhabits the physical body and uses it in order to have experiences, which we wouldn't have otherwise. Whilst we are here, every action we put into being brings another action, this is known as cause and effect so there is a price to pay known as Karma. It is baggage that stays with us through every lifetime &affects what happens to us, I would call it destiny. In each incarnation we can still make choices within these boundaries.

Hello, I agree with everything stated so far. I would just like to add that I believe sex should be reserved for special purposes. It's just like cannabis or drinking or scratching an itch. If it's done too much, just to distract or to fill some void (which likely come from not growing our connection with spirit) then it may cause problems. Social withdrawal, guilt, shame, injury. All things should be used in right relation. If you feel guilty or ashamed or otherwise negatively about a behavior, thought or action, then it may be time to meditate on it. Spend time everyday meditating. Set an intention , such as "I will quiet my mind and focus on tuning in to my spirit." You can set intentions relating to specific questions, or be as vague as you wish. Actually, in my experience, the more vaguely or generally I can set my intention , the better the answers or information I receive, tend to be. Remember, darkness (negative thoughts, feelings, demons, ANYTHING NEGATIVE OR DARK) is ONLY the absence of light. As soon as light is shone on a demon, it's obvious that it was never there. Love and blessings brother!!! There is no sex in the spiritual planes only on the lower worlds. As above, so below. Spirit is what it is which is usually white light. In order to have sex, one must have the necessary equipment which needs form. Many years ago, I read of a group that only have sex when they want to have a child, are you a member of a group like that? That would fit in with what you have said.

To me, part of the problems of the world are caused by us constantly looking for 'oneness.' Whether it's the 'one way' approach to life, the 'one reality' idea or any variation on the theme (even pantheism is essentially a philosophy of 'oneness') it's that obsession with order and unity that creates so many problems. The pagans of the old world were polytheists and animists; for them the world was always plural and manifold. That idea makes a lot more sense to me; it is a more logical explanation of evil, disaster, confusion and chaos than any other I've come across. To me the idea of 'the many' works much better both as an explanation and in terms of my experience of the world (material and spiritual.) So why not embrace our diversity within a manifold universe with many Gods and many creative (and destructive) principles? As far as I am concerned due to my personal experiences, this world is ruled by the two aspects of positivity and negativity and we can be influenced by both. We are the ones who make the choice as to which path we will follow. Good or Evil. We are actually creating the conditions that shapes the state of the world.

Hi, Im new here. A recent experience caused me to search for 'spiritual forum' so i could discuss it. Strangley, all sites but this one, refuse to let me register. Wierd? Its the 4th one i tried. Il say a little about myself and then of my experience. Ive always been interested in spirituality's subjects. i was reading books on bhuddism, krishna, taoism and any other religeous or spiritual material i could find. This wasat the age of about 14 (i practiced I-Ching until i no longer wanted any answers). I also used to bunk off school to read about things such as quantum theory, chaos theory and more taoism. After staring at a Yin and Yang for a long time, I came to the conclusion that 'creation' was not such a big mystery. Taoism taught me that energy must have its equal opposite, or nothing would exist. I mean, how do you get something from nothing? It's easy. You take a positive and a negative from nothing, or (+1) + (-1). Basic stuff . I was happy that the world was in balance due to my conviction that everything was just 'Yin and Yang' or good and evil, one cannot exist without the other, like the mythical 'eternal battle of heaven' no-one can win or we will cease to exist. I imagine this is all very basic to some of you readers here. However, just recently I had a strange experience where I percieved I saw everything 'as a whole'. I was in the process of asking this question when it happened: "is it possible that one person alone, seperated from the rest of reality, could in fact create create universes within universes, inhabited by millions of unknowing copies of himself, by creating 'virtual realities' within 'virtual realities'?'. Thats when it hit me,. The vision was exactly as i described, and the only being that existed was 'God' or 'The One'. Who is also me, who is also you, and is also everyone. This felt really good and I felt energised and inspired from it. On the other hand, also a feeling of imminent doom came with it, like a dark cloud hanging over me. Strangley, a new invention popped into my head at the same moment, an invention that has nothing to do with the thoughts I had. (i am still working on the invention.) Over the space of a few days the overwhelming feelings subsided, and now i feel 'back to normal'. apart from the fact i feel constantly happy now instead of depressed. Somebody answered my question, stating that an author called alan watts had written almost the same thing. Apparently he had said that reality is god playing hide and seek with himself. What do you guys think? is this an awakening? Anyone else had the same experience? Is morphus about to hand me some pills? Or is this just the information in my head trying to make sense of itself? Id like to hear any feedback on this. Hi Mrtortoise23, I think we areall trying to make sense of everything, so we are filled with curiosity and looking for answers as to what life is all about. Your thoughts as a result of the experience that you had, sounds very plausible to me. Thanks for the input, it is certainly very interesting.

It was an out of the body experience on both occasions. The first was when the Alien Craft landed close to where I lived at the time. Everybody was queueing up to go inside the craft and I was trying to prevent them by telling them that the aliens would take over their minds. The next thing I knew, the people were gone and I was inside being friendly with the two occupants that I saw. The were wearing zipped up uniforms and had longish hair. They looked normal to me. We were communing with our thoughts instead of our voices. I apparently thought something they thought was amusing, because the one who was attending to something at a bench, looked at the other one with a smile on his face. That is all I remember of that encounter. On the other occasion, I was with the pilot and he was showing me a map with names that were alien to me. I had the impression that we were travelling in space. Once again I have no recollection of what happened after that. Both times the atmosphere was very friendly, I was accepting everything as if it was familiar to me, and they were accepting me in the same manner. I am just wondering if these Aliens were the ones known as the Greys? Their minds are very powerful from what I have read and they can control your mind to the extent that you don't become frightened. Perhaps, that is why I thought they looked so normal. Wow very interesting, thanks for sharing. Have you ever tried past life regression? Some people have been past life regressed and able to recall more information about these types of encounters and even sometimes remembering past life contracts made to fulfill in the present life etc. There are said to be a few species that are involved with that. There are many good books on the subject but the two that come to mind are Keepers of the Garden by Dalores Cannon and The 37th Parallel: The Secret Truth Behind America's UFO Highway www.amazon.com/Keepers-Garden-Dolores-Cannon/dp/0963277642www.amazon.com/37th-Parallel-Secret-Americas-Highway-ebook/dp/B0176M1AKI/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1510111071&sr=1-1&keywords=39th+parallelBoth contain a lot of information pertaining to this phenomena. In Keepers of the Garden a young man contacted Dalores and wanted to do a past life regression after almost committing suicide. He was past life regressed and different suppressed memories began coming forward from his sub-conscious. Past lives on other ET worlds, soul contracts, and more came to the surface and they were able to gather a lot of information. At one point they describe how he incarnated here on earth, as many others, as "star seeds" that have been called here at this time to help planet earth raise in consciousness. It is quite interesting and discusses this type of encounters as well with ET craft. I do wonder what the meaning of that happening to you is, and I am sure that was quite the experience. Thanks for discussing it Thanks for the info. I will see if I can purchase these books. The path that I'm on accepts the belief that Alien Craft are real, that reincarnation is a fact along with past lives which of course proves the authenticity of reincarnation. I have experienced many past lives.

For some reason it is in my mind that we are the original Martians. Could this be possible? Some people that have done research claim that Mars once inhabited life but was destroyed by Nuclear Weapons. Other people say that ET ancient builder race remains can be found on Mars and other planets. In a sense, we kind of are ET's, with planet earth being our home. With the idea of past lives and re-incarnation, we can also consider past lives on other planets perhaps or in different parts of the world. I want to do more research on Mars as there is definitely a lot there. Regardless I wonder if we were seeded as a race or perhaps were given the spark of souls/consciousness and jump into third dimensional reality from second dimensional awareness once the time was ready. It kind of goes over this a little bit in Keepers of the Garden but I would like to learn more about it as well. Hi WeAreAllOne, All the curiosity and questioning sure keeps our minds active so that it doesn't atrophy Aren't we glad.

I believe that all my consciousness centres have been activated at one time, but of course I don't think I hold that consciousness on a permanent basis and this is what is needed.
I am conscious of the fact that we are all one but I still live life according to what presents itself. Wouldn't a person have to be in a state of perpetual meditation, in order to achieve the highest level of consciousness permanently?

Hi WeAreAllOne, this is very real to me, I have travelled in an Alien Craft. We no longer use the expression Astral travel, but Soul travel. Though it is mentioned that it is not really travel but rather a shifting of our awareness into openings in the continuum. This sounds right, seeing everything is the 'here and now'. It was an out of the body experience on both occasions. The first was when the Alien Craft landed close to where I lived at the time.
