Hi, Im new here. A recent experience caused me to search for 'spiritual forum' so i could discuss it. Strangley, all sites but this one, refuse to let me register. Wierd? Its the 4th one i tried.
Il say a little about myself and then of my experience. Ive always been interested in spiritual subjects. i was reading books on bhuddism, krishna, taoism and any other religeous or spiritual material i could find. This wasat the age of about 14 (i practiced I-Ching until i no longer wanted any answers). I also used to bunk off school to read about things such as quantum theory, chaos theory and more taoism. After staring at a Yin and Yang for a long time, I came to the conclusion that 'creation' was not such a big mystery. Taoism taught me that energy must have its equal opposite, or nothing would exist. I mean, how do you get something from nothing? It's easy. You take a positive and a negative from nothing, or (+1) + (-1). Basic stuff . I was happy that the world was in balance due to my conviction that everything was just 'Yin and Yang' or good and evil, one cannot exist without the other, like the mythical 'eternal battle of heaven' no-one can win or we will cease to exist. I imagine this is all very basic to some of you readers here.
However, just recently I had a strange experience where I percieved I saw everything 'as a whole'. I was in the process of asking this question when it happened: "is it possible that one person alone, seperated from the rest of reality, could in fact create create universes within universes, inhabited by millions of unknowing copies of himself, by creating 'virtual realities' within 'virtual realities'?'. Thats when it hit me,. The vision was exactly as i described, and the only being that existed was 'God' or 'The One'. Who is also me, who is also you, and is also everyone.
This felt really good and I felt energised and inspired from it. On the other hand, also a feeling of imminent doom came with it, like a dark cloud hanging over me. Strangley, a new invention popped into my head at the same moment, an invention that has nothing to do with the thoughts I had. (i am still working on the invention.)
Over the space of a few days the overwhelming feelings subsided, and now i feel 'back to normal'. apart from the fact i feel constantly happy now instead of depressed.
Somebody answered my question, stating that an author called alan watts had written almost the same thing. Apparently he had said that reality is god playing hide and seek with himself.
What do you guys think? is this an awakening? Anyone else had the same experience? Is morphus about to hand me some pills? Or is this just the information in my head trying to make sense of itself? Id like to hear any feedback on this.

I have heard of this but haven't had that kind of experience. God is Spirit and we are Soul a part of God that becomes individualised by inhabiting a physical body, so your experience does give credence to that possibility.

I have had the same problem as you and came across loads of forums and platforms that were just too restrictive. My goal was to make this an open platform for anybody and everybody so again thanks for posting this. You pretty much nailed it on the head. This is an awakening to the truth so many eventually come to, regardless of how many lives it may take. Right now, we are all dreaming an illusion, all asleep and "separate" from source. I mean that in the sense that all we remember is this one life we "have had". When in reality, we are all connected to something much more, something we all share. This was the reason why I chose the display name "We Are All One' Because we truly are all one. One experiencing the all, the all experiencing the one through the illusion of reality. By dreaming this physical reality (even though everything is actually a vibration, or a frequency, everything seems REAL when really it is all wave lengths) we are able to, as a soul, experience separation from source. We are all apart of source consciousness. We are God experiencing himself, or as you quoted, God playing hide and seek with himself. This is why we are all truly equal. No matter the skin color, no matter what shape, size, sex, height whatever, we are all truly equal, because we have all originated from source as a means of source being able to explore itself. The ego, which is built into this human vessel, is a mechanism of the mind, that identifies with the SEPARATENESS of source. This is why the ego encompasses everything that is the opposite of Source, or love. That is why we have been in such a mess as a species for such a long time. When we integrate the Soul and make a holy trinity of Mind, Body, Spirit, we can become truly balanced and stay within the presence of now and further our awareness. I feel like I am not fully doing these concepts justice with what little I have written here, but these are covered in so many texts, documents, and literature. A course in miracles goes into great detail the fundamental flaws of the Ego and how we can fix and heal pain we have caused ourselves from the idea of being separate from everyone else and the earth itself. I have posted a lot of topics and threads on these types of ideas and love talking and learning about these types of things. Here are some pictures that resonate this idea we are discussing, and included are some links we have posted as well. Thanks for taking the time to share this with us. awakeningforums.com/thread/368/hidden-world-symbols-right-frontThis also ties in nicely with sacred geometry and how reality is structured and the cosmos as well. I can't believe that I have found a forum, where we are all enlightened in a similar manner, all that has been written is very familiar to me. Thanks to everyone who has contributed their experiences..

Your thoughts as a result of the experience that you had, sounds very plausible to me. Thanks for the input, it is certainly very interesting.
