so last night i dreamt about the phrase God is dead. Someone was saying it with hatred and anger.
This morning i researched the phrase and learned it was said by Friedrich Nietzsche. now in my dream i saw an image of Nietzsche and didn't know it was him. in my dream he left the body of a man and said that this phrase is getting serious, becoming real. i have read a few of his quotes before, but dont remember this one. i really dont know his thoughts on things. found this article i posted here. i might have to buy the book.

God cannot be dead. As we are all fragments of god. So if god is dead, so are we.
As god/source is collective consciousness. It does not have physical body. It is light, it is energy eternal. Just like the spark in all of us.

yea, I agree that god isn't dead. i think nietzche is speaking more of political stuff. he is afraid of the world of politics today, where they are heading. i am still reading about it. my husbands sister is a librarian at a university and i asked her to point me in the right direction to learn more. i am trying to read his works that i posted here, but my mind goes stupid when i read thou's and words like that.

Although interesting for yourself and for others, I find reading books or literature such as this makes you think like the author, which in turn creates your realities.
What I've found that it is just like food. You are what you eat, so too you are what you read. Perceptions.

That is basically what he says. Probably why he chose to have no friends. He took that to an extreme.

I've always heard that the term was used as a cultural commentary about the direction of the world.
A similar allegory to today's times would be "science denier" most typically used by the political left to smear their opponents. I think he just saw where we were heading as a species and how "science" is/was being used to replace "god."

God is not Dead, But on the COntary to the Political Sphere It is, Gaped on us that the Sun's Ray are Clouded by Mere Conclusions of Human Mind that is in Envy Corruptible in thuswise to Shield/Hide away God from our View, Thuswise God Being Dead. It is the Artificial Matrixes Consent that God is Remained Dead, For Which their is little Faith in the Region of Regeneration of one's Prior Sense of Understandings 2 - The - Better You; IE. GOD CONScious. The World inhabits that with it's Institution that Does Little but No Regard to Give God a Place to the Lives of continuance Servitude. Albeit Serving Two Masters "is" plausible, It is not Recommended to Make Mankind Your Master, Because of their Continuance of Flaws that Ever in the Political Sphere tend to Change Parameters in their Attempt to Create the Perfect World Apart of the Nature. It is in that We See that God is not Dead but Remained Alive, In Which Birds Fly and Monkeys Jump FROM Trees to Trees and Get Fed. But in the Artificial Matrix, the World; Death to God is Well Served Seen Money is their MAker. Their God and their Parameter.
