There is an untold history of our corner of the galaxy. It tells us that the Alpha Draconian reptilians colonised our planet with the dinosaurs and they had been moving around our solar system creating and maintaining many projects that were not sanctioned as moral or ethical in the eyes of the elders of the Galactic Federation. A war began because of the actions and inactions caused by the reptilians. The asteroid that hit the Earth on the Yucatan peninsula was not a random event, it was set up by the Peladians to rid Earth of the reptilians genetic experiments. The war which is still going on that has been so for billions of years, good vs evil so to speak. It caused a planet called Tiamat to explode, what is now the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter (where the asteroid originated) as the Peladians destroyed it as means to rid the Alpha Draconians from our system, and they nuked Mars. Many fled, but a small group stayed behind living inside our Earth controlling and manipulating our lives in the most nefarious ways.
This history is just a fragment. This is part of how 'we' came to be. The nuking of Mars led the Draconians to evacuate their genetically created species of a slave race (the ape). They were relocated to Earth. Many thousands of years later, the Annunaki came to town because they had troubles with their dying planet. Needing gold for their atmosphere to replace the depleted ozone layer, they themselves and their Iggigi servants rebelled against the arduous mining operations. So they, being master geneticist began tinkering with the sentient beings of Earth, the apes, began creating different versions of their slave race.
Until they were satisfied with the perfect balance of strength, endurance, intellect and agility. They ended up with what we are today. It was a tedious task to have to manually create us, so they made a female version and enabled us to procreate. They made us in their image.
I would say these 'scientists' from the OP are beginning to start discloser in terms of topics that have been suppressed, hidden and shunned in the past.

Some notes I have on them that a dream led me to:
The Tiamat tablets of destiny are Sumerian text records, arrival of sons of Annu. Between two rivers. First object brought to them were two or more tablets of a shiny bronze like appearance that held immense power and knowledge. The tablets are originally Tiamats. She gave to her husband Kinga. He had it fastened to his breast. Then Marduk took the tablets and put on his breast, having ownership of them gives you power and importance. Egyptians call it the Book of Thoth. The tablets are possibly the genealogy of mankind and they were worn to protect adamic genes within the ribs and heart solar plexus, chakra, spirit level, to keep one pure. The tablet holds genetic history, who touches them, knows the destiny of the universe.
