Personally I don't trust the Galactic Federation or the Alliance of Light Beings.
How can I trust advanced beings which I know nothing about? Where they come from, what their motivations are. Take their word for it? I think not.

I've heard of them before, but how can you trust someone that you know nothing about? And no way of checking their credentials. EVER! What? Aliens are here to help us? No way. They may start out benevolent, but down the path? Their true agenda will surface.
We need to get our heads out of our asses and take care of our own problems.
