Don't think I would want to come back from the dead....as a clone!

Interesting topic amber.
I watched an episode of the X files which had a similar flavour to it. Where your consciousness was stored in a computer program where you remain for eternity unless the plug is pulled. Sounds something similar to the movie The Matrix.
I don't particularly want to hang around past my use by date. As we are incarnated here to learn from lessons and experiences to further expand our consciousness to explore other possibilities that we have an infinite amount of. It's bad enough being trapped in a prison within our own mind, thinking that we are free. In death, after our experience, when the ride is over are we free again. To have your consciousness, your essence trapped within a trap. No thanks. I will let the natural flow, balance and harmony of the universe take its course with me.

Michio Kaku talks about this in one of his science books as well. When I read it, my thoughts went to our consciousness being trapped, but our souls moving on. So that would make a clone a souless intelligence. A robot basically. This is about as far from being connected to the divine as one can get. More people need to realize their higher selves.
So many horrors could go on with this....

Also the intelligence, lessons learnt, experiences etc contained within the consciousness cannot travel with the soul and placed into your personal Akashic records. Trapped, life wasted.

The pieces of the puzzle buried deep. What a mess that is going to create. I can only imagine. It would make a fantastic fiction story to write though.
