Joe Biden holds first press conference since becoming US President
Joe Biden finally held his first press conference since taking office today, and faced a grilling – plus a couple of awkward moments.

US President Joe Biden faced a grilling from reporters today, particularly on immigration issues, as he held his first formal press conference since taking office on January 20.
Mr Biden was on his feet for about an hour, and started by announcing a revised goal of conducting 200 million COVID-19 vaccinations in his first 100 days.
The President had an initial target of 100 million shots, which the United States passed last week on his 59th day in power.
“I know it’s ambitious, twice our original goal, but no other country in the world has even come close to what we are doing,” he said.
With that out of the way, Mr Biden proceeded to take questions from 10 reporters. Not one of them asked about the coronavirus pandemic – a fact that didn’t escape the notice of viewers.

‘Very real chance’ Donald Trump will go to jail amid escalating legal woes.
Nearly three months after leaving the White House, Donald Trump is facing a “very real chance” his escalating legal woes will send him to prison.
Two-and-a-half months after leaving the White House, Donald Trump is, among other things, reportedly plotting a 2024 reprisal of his role as leader of the free world, from the comfort of his eponymous Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida’s Palm Beach.
But if the former president’s escalating legal woes are anything to go by, there’s a “very real chance” he won’t be heading back to the White House, but to prison instead.
In addition to being the defendant in no fewer than 29 lawsuits, according to The Washington Post, the 74-year-old is also the subject of multiple criminal investigations — including one in which lawyers had obtained access to his tax returns, after a four year fight on Mr Trump’s part to keep them secret.
Trump denies any wrongdoing, having previously said he’s “proud” of his tax returns, and labelling the attempts to force him to show them a “political prosecution”.
The investigation into whether, along with the Trump Organisation, he has committed bank, tax and insurance fraud has stepped up a notch in recent weeks, when the personal bank records of Allen Weisselberg, the self-described “eyes and ears … from an economic standpoint” of Mr Trump were subpoenaed.
“Mr Weisselberg, who has not been accused of wrongdoing, has overseen the Trump Organisation’s finances for decades and may hold the key to any possible criminal case in New York against the former president and his family business,” reporters for The New York Timeswrote on Wednesday.
People with knowledge of the matter also told The Times that prosecutors are seeking a new round of internal Trump Organisation documents, to then “compare those details (of each Trump property’s financial situation) against the information the company provided to its lenders and local tax authorities to assess whether it fraudulently misled them”.
So they have to find something on Trump so trivial that he will have no chance of getting back in the top job.

It's crazy how the higher you rise, the more you see the bullshit for what it is. I'm referring to what Yoda posted above of course. Once you know the system is fully corrupt ran by and for the benefit of the people at the top, and used to take down any threat to it, the more even giving it any attention is almost almost painful. Sometimes I check what anons are saying about the news and such and I can feel my mood/vibration just instantly lower. It's truth and it's pointing out the hypocrisy and the lies and the corruption, but at a point, it's such a given and a complete waste of emotional capital. It reminds me of that old Simpsons Treehouse of Horror episode where all the advertisements come to life and start terrorizing the town. The solution to stop them: just don't look (Lisa led the town in a little song). As soon as people stopped doing what the advertisements were designed to do (draw attention), they all collapsed. That's exactly what the doctor ordered here with this dying system (and the darkness as a whole). I went down the rabbit hole and got sucked in for a while as part of the process is confronting and grappling with the truth, but there comes a point where you then need to leave it behind. I think a lot of these anons (and devotees) have made "truth-teller" or "digital warrior" such a massive part of their identity that they're getting stuck in the muck as day after day passes without some world-changing revelation shoved in everyone's faces. What happens if "the event" or "the big reveal" never happens as they see it? They've effectively become dependent on the old system doing corrupt and shitty stuff in the EXACT same way the corrupt media became dependent on slandering president Donald Trump (at the time) to get viewers. Without actually evolving as an individual and learning to create something new in your own life rather than waiting for someone else to come along and do it for you, you just become a slightly upgraded version of what you complain about. /rant.  |

I've almost completely left the septic tank and have completely left behind the idea of trying to convince anyone of anything that they're not already on board with. I might snip something and send it someone just to grab a laugh with them but that's about it. Those who are asleep in my life know I'm the "crazy conspiracy theorist." I was high one night and poured my heart out into a FB message to all my 200 friends and family about how the Annunaki created humans as slaves so we're carrying the energy of slavery down to this very day and how people need to open up to the idea that Trump is here to reveal our shadow while Biden is the truly evil one. It had all that juicy stuff in there and i'm sure most people think I lost it entirely, especially since I was also talking about how I've struggled to be a leader but I'm ready now when it comes to navigating this crazy world so please reach out if you're having trouble making sense of all this crazy shit happening in the world. I'm accelerating my turn inward. I never realized how much shit I could be better at. Had a really awesome download today in meditation about just letting shit go. I've always been one to try to figure everything out, so when it comes to shadow work, I'd try to analyze and figure out where this thing I'm doing came from. "Was it this part of my childhood? Was it how my dad was a perfectionist and so accomplishment oriented?" It doesn't matter, not one single bit. All that matters is that I'm conscious of the pattern/habit/action and being present enough to change how I respond in the moment in order to integrate that part of my shadow. At the end of the day, the ONLY way we can make the world better is by improving each individual within it, and the only individual we have control over is our self.
