Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little.- Edmund Burke We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.- Albert Einstein Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.- Aldous Huxley, Complete Essays 2, 1926-29 (1894-1963) Whenever one person stands up and says, 'Wait a minute, this is wrong,' it helps other people to do the same.- Gloria Steinem

“By means of thought, touch, sight and passions and by the abundance of food and drink there are birth and development of the (embodied) self. According to his deeds, the embodied self assumes successively various forms in various conditions.” Shevetashvatara Upanishad 5,11.

"The Universe rearranges itself to accomodate your picture of reality" - E.T. Earth Mission I am concerned for the regular posters on this forum. I hope you can find peace somehow. I am not coming back. Since you're not coming back and thus won't see this, I'll go nuts. This message is all ego.
First, you profess your concerns for the people here choosing the spend their time in a way you don't approve of, as if you have a monopoly on what's best for people. Second, you wish these poor souls can find peace, once again assuming they haven't yet because they're not conducting themselves in accordance with what you deem as a sufficient way of finding peace. Lastly, you declare that you are not coming back, which is something we should be concerned about or upset about because you've already established that you know what's best for us, and without you here, we'll be lost souls continuing our fruitless search for that ever illusive sense of peace. Chances are you would at least check back in to see how many people said "no no jahara please come back, my co-dependence requires your presence here!"
I'm only sounding harsh because being abrasive can sometimes illuminate things that are hard to see. And I say this with love because I've done the same thing in the past, numerous times. Once I really examined what I was doing and why I couldn't actually quit doing the things I wanted to leave behind, I came the realization that I was doing what I illustrated above.
That said, all the best.

A couple really good mantras to remember when you find yourself stuck or frustrated and unable to figure out why:
"Energy flows where attention goes." "That which you consume, consumes you."
And if you need a really quick guide on what/how to eat for health:
"You are what you eat: best not to be cheap, artificial and easy."

If you aim at nothing, you’ll hit it every time.- Zig Ziglar You are free to choose, but you are not free from the consequences of your choice.- Unknown It is easy enough to restrain our anger when the other guy is bigger.- Unknown
