Hey everyone 
I have been paying for ad free for years on here to not only keep it cleaner but also because ads suck, no one wants to see those. It has been relatively cheap, at around 6$ per month with occasional fluctuations.
Lately after we have done some board rearranging our traffic here has been steadily increasing with several random bursts of huge traffic here and there. Usually caused by a link to a thread being posted or shared somewhere. This is so exciting to see and I have really been wanting this to be a busy place that anyone can visit yet still find something interesting.
The past 3 months have experienced such volumes of traffic that it has actually exceeded our ad free traffic allowance. I had an overage setup to where it would pay extra for more coverage and it has been activated faster and faster the past 3 months. This month it has already been exceeded and as you can see ads are now appearing.
Like I said we really do not want ads here so I am thinking of the possibility of going with a higher plan. Another option is only enabling ad free for members. This would be a nice member feature but I also feel like guests should get an uncluttered experience when visiting here and ads only make it harder to browse in peace.
Here are the ad free plans for context. I'm contemplating going with 150k page views @ 16$ a month with overage enabled. Or a step down with overage enabled. We were at the 50k mark with up to 100k overage enabled and that is not enough anymore as you can see. Posted this to just get any feedback if anyone else had any thoughts. It would be fun to maybe offer apparel in the future to help cover ad-free costs but either way I have no problem investing into a cleaner experience these forums.
Other than that, it is great to see more posts and threads being created, more 24 hour traffic highs as our platform reaches wider audiences and is shared in more places. Just wanted to thank everyone swinging by here and contributing in their own way. It is great to see and makes it all worth it tenfold
