Was at a bar one time and Shannon (the lead singer) was sitting next to me drinking too. I never spoke to him, just sat there and drank my beer. I watched everyone around try to impress him in a variety of ways. By time I got up to leave I saw him standing and a circle of people stood around him, but no one stood with him. That stuck with me, how lonely he must of felt. He died from an overdose about a month later.
