Old Souls: Realizing you're older than almost everyone

A few days ago I briefly pondered alongside my subconscious mind how old I am. Then I began to look at the people in my life and realized I am, indeed, older than most, if not all of them spiritually. I am talking about people decades older than me. It's such a weird realization! In addition to this I became certain that this life I am living now will be my last incarnation - on this planet, at least - if I do things the right way. I plan on making this the last time for a multitude of reasons I will not post now. I knew all of this in my early teens, but I never paid much attention to it. The reason for that was mostly due to having so many adults tell me "you're an old soul" because my grandmother raised me. I thought this feeling was in attribute to how I was raised rather than who and what I am in my very soul.
If you are an old soul, when did you figure it out? What were the indicators? How does this information make you feel??
