Fluoride deposition in the aged human pineal gland.www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11275672Luke J AbstractThe purpose was to discover whether fluoride (F) accumulates in the aged human pineal gland. The aims were to determine (a) F-concentrations of the pineal gland (wet), corresponding muscle (wet) and bone (ash); (b) calcium-concentration of the pineal. Pineal, muscle and bone were dissected from 11 aged cadavers and assayed for F using the HMDS-facilitated diffusion, F-ion-specific electrode method. Pineal calcium was determined using atomic absorption spectroscopy. Pineal and muscle contained 297+/-257 and 0.5+/-0.4 mg F/kg wet weight, respectively; bone contained 2,037+/-1,095 mg F/kg ash weight. The pineal contained 16,000+/-11,070 mg Ca/kg wet weight. There was a positive correlation between pineal F and pineal Ca (r = 0.73, p<0.02) but no correlation between pineal F and bone F. By old age, the pineal gland has readily accumulated F and its F/Ca ratio is higher than bone.

I am very young myself, but I used to worry so much in my teens about having a calcified pineal gland when I was brought to awareness about the fluoride and food conspiracy. A part of me still is, really. I am amazed to hear this is beginning to be looked into by verified science. Most people simply shrug off the anti-fluoride opinions or simply say it is not harmful because it's in small doses, helps clean the teeth, etc.
The "small doses" thing may be true....but everything in life adds up eventually.
I wonder if future generations are going to look back at our fluoride usage the way we look at generations past that didn't so much as blink when it came to using opium, tobacco, DDT, etc.

One reason for this is the fact that most fluoride used in toothpaste/water supplies is not real natural fluoride. Real fluoride actually does exist in the earth and in natural water springs but that is a natural component. The types of fluoride used in our tap water and in foods/toothpaste etc is often times a imitation fluoride that is a byproduct of industry waste and will be compared as such in the future like you said to tobacco and abestos and other poisons that were commonly used blindly back in the day. Here's a good link on it. poisonpaste.com/fluoride-history.phpI got lucky and grew up on well water and anytime I drink city tap water with fluoride in it, I get a subtle weird headache in the middle of my head. I have to fill up glass jugs with well water just to avoid the fluoride that is so commonly found in many city water supplies.

I'm a suburban California gal....when I found out natural water that is filtered/sanitized without adding in unnatural BS is not really supposed to have a taste I was shocked. The water that comes out of sink taps definitely has a taste - a bold one at that. The job I have sells filtered water, but I'm not sure if they add fluoride to the tank or not. I know some companies do add a "taste" because people are used to it. I kind of envy you and your well water!

I know some companies do add a "taste" because people are used to it. I kind of envy you and your well water! Yeah and it can be so many factors as well, even pipes can affect the taste of tap water. In Flint, Michigan, they had a very awful problem with lead pipes degrading and getting into the water supply. Sad thing is, that is still an ongoing issue. Thankfully there are a few different ways you can combat fluoride and whatever else is in the water. Distilling by getting a table top distiller works or a really great water filtration system is reverse osmosis. Only down side is the cost, but it is a great investment. There are also filters you can get for the shower. It is frustrating to have to go to such extremes just to get clean water. Thankfully many cities are starting to roll back flouridation of water supplies after people are starting to realize that it's not the best for our health. There are even studies that have been done noting how it decreases IQ. www.huffingtonpost.com/dr-mercola/fluoride_b_2479833.htmlAnd this is just one issue. There are so many issues with infrastructure alone in this country and not to mention the complete waste in money that is pumped into the giant military machine. Just BS all the way down honestly. Things are getting better
