With warm regards, we thank you for taking the time to be here, as always. I would like to keep this brief and let you know about some new changes coming and how things have been going. It is great to see our forums grow and more and more visitors come through. I regret not being able to share as much content and ideas as I'd like. I have a rather large back log of stuff to post and share and will work on that through the following months.
I hope life is treating you well and you are staying positive as things get more and more heated on the world stage. There is much to look forward to and so much has already happened. We will continue to share what we can and do what we can to help bring these esoteric ideas further into the mainstream and allow a common place for such ideas to be exchanged.
As our platform has been growing, the spam has been getting worse. I have tried various things and it has been somewhat of a challenge. I have a small measure in place to help prevent it from appearing but it does not seem to always work currently. Still working on fixing that. Starting now as well, heavily spammed threads will be locked to prevent further spam comments. Locked threads will be unlocked at a future date for potential discussion.
I would also like to say that we are planning on creating a "light" template for daytime viewing if you wish. This could be enabled in your member profile and changed at will. Currently we have this darker theme to help the eyes for night time viewing. This way, either template can be changed to better suit your needs.
I try to keep this announcements board cleaned up so I went ahead and moved a bunch of old announcements to the archive bin. I also do what I can to stay on top of spam posts as they come in and move those in accordance, and with targeted threads being locked it should curb the spam.
We may look into some new background images and changing some things around and tidying up the boards a bit to make everything flow nicely. As always, we are always open to suggestions, comments, and feedback! Thank you for being on Awakening Forums and we look forward to the road ahead of us.
