My spiritual journey, like every spiritual journey, is unique and therefore i humbly offer my perspective to anyone looking for an ear.
I am 23, and when i was in college i picked up meditation. I started off with an eastern mysticism practice focusing on the chakra system, and plunged myself deep into a world of mystery. If any one on this forum has experienced that same dive off the deep end, then they know that these studies, although important, can be dangerous when attempted alone (and young!). Nonetheless I came out the other side a different person, and work to gain presence of mind and deeper intuitive understanding. I experience times of great isolation now, despite the fact that friends and family surround me. It's not constant, but this seems to be the double edged sword i have found myself.
Zen buddhism has also been a big part of my spiritual growth. I use zen meditation as a way to ground myself if ever i find myself hovering too far from things.

Looks like we are all pretty much around 20-30 years old which is nice to see. Chakras are always a nice start, and are a lot of fun to read about. You into binaural beats? I understand the feeling isolation even when around friends and family. Not many people are aware of these ideas or truths and thus don't connect to that idea. This is changing however which is great to see, and was another motivation for these forums, so we can all come together in this great awakening. If you can recommend any meditation techniques I and I'm sure others would greatly appreciate it.
